Day 9  (Feb 27th)
Day 9  (Feb 27th)

Hebrews 12:1-3

12 Therefore, since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles. And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith. For the joy set before him, he endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. Consider him who endured such opposition from sinners, so that you will not grow weary and lose heart.

There are tired days… and then there are tired days. The kind where your feet move, but your heart drags. The kind where you keep showing up, but you don’t know what you’re running toward anymore. You’re still in the race—barely—but the wind feels like it’s in your face every step. And then it hits you. It’s not a sprint; it's a marathon. Uff.

That’s where Hebrews 12:1–3 meets us: “Run with perseverance.” Not with perfection. Not with applause. With perseverance. Keep going. Keep moving. Keep breathing.

And here is your secret weapon: “Consider Jesus.”Not “consider your options.” Not “consider quitting.” Not “consider how unfair this is.” Consider Jesus. Here’s the resurrection-shaped truth: grit isn’t you gritting your teeth until sparks fly. Grit is you fixing your eyes on the Living One when your soul is ready to sit down on the curb and watch the other runners go by.

So when you’re tired, don’t only ask, “How much do I have left?” Ask, “Who am I looking at?” Because what you stare at shapes what you can stand.

Today, take one honest step. Whisper His name. Consider Jesus. And let His resurrection voice say to your worn-out heart: Keep going. I’m with you. This isn’t the end.

Have a great day!
